08-09 TOP 25 USA HOCKEY REGISTERED ADULT LEAGUES

Thanks and Congratulations to all adult members of USA Hockey and to recognize the Top 25 registered adult leagues in the country we have published the top 25 adult leagues in the country.  Congratulations and welcome to all current and new adult programs and players to the 575 adult league family throughout the country.  Adult registration has topped last seasons 117,219 and there is a tie for the adult member that registered as # 117,220.  To commemorate this monumental achievement we will provide Jason Koskinen and Thomas Utley with commemorative USA Hockey Jerseys.  Congratulations to both of you for being # 117,220.

All Adult Mens Ice  and Inline Hockey Roster Freeze 30 days from the Start of the Season.     

All Players must be on the roster by May 26, once rosters are frozen on May 26 No roster adjustments will be made. NO Exceptions.

Season dates:  Start The week of May 18th and End August 4th, with playoffs happening the following week.    We will play primarily Monday-Thursday evenings, with a rare weekend game

Team Fee: $4015.00.  Expecting 15 players and 1 Goalie on each team

The fee that each person pays will depend on the amount of players on each team Example: 15 players = $269 per player, Goalies pay 4130

Evalutaions :    Cost $20

Every Player must participate in at least one  evalutaion session. Once the evalutions are complete Captains will hold a draft to determine their teams.  You must be USA Hockey Registered to participate in Evaluations.

We'd like to try to try to build on this event and give our wounded soldiers and marines a regular opportunity to play hockey.  We need some good quality adult size equipment to accomplish this.

If anyone has some extra good quality equipment that they can donate to this program please contact Mike Hickey

Every Saturday Night is "Heineken Night"

The winners of each Saturday Night Adult League game will recieve FREE beer (1 Pony Keg and Plastic Cups).

Elite Hockey Instruction is offering skills clinics to all adults every Saturday morning from 7:50AM - 8:50AM. Each class is just $20.00.Goalies pay $10.00. As a bonus, the ice will be open at 7:20am for a half-hour of 'free' time that players can use for no extra charge.

Focus: Skating, Passing, Shooting, Stickhandling,  Team Play and More

The next session  will begin on Saturday April 18, 2009 and  run through June 13, 2009.             No class May 9th or 16th

Private Lessons

The spring and summer are great times for private and small group lessons.  Lessons are for players of all ages and ability levels.  Lesson slots generally fill up quickly, so try to book early.  Visit our website for more information.     

 Team Instruction

EHI also offers team instruction for adult teams looking to get a leg up on the competition.  We will create and run a practice plan to fit the needs of your team.  This can usually be done for $20 per player including the cost of the ice.

- Breakouts   - Defensive zone systems and coverages   - Neutral zone transitions   - Offensive systems and puck possession   - Special Teams Play
